Phil Carloni was licensed as a Real Estate Salesperson in 1975 and received his Connecticut broker's license in 1977. He has worked full time in real estate since 1975, becoming first an associate at Carloni Associates/Realtors, a partner in 1977 and broker/owner of Realty World - Carloni Associates in 1983. In 1994 he founded RE/MAX Alliance and has recently partnered with Alison Barbaro and opened a second RE/MAX Alliance office in Guilford.
Phil has earned the prestigious Certified Residential Specialist and Accredited Buyer Representative designations from the National Association of Realtors. He is involved in over 50 transactions each year and has helped hundreds of clients buy and sell homes, investment properties and land in the Shoreline area. Currently an Executive VP for the Connecticut Association of Realtors and an MLS Director for the Middshore Association of Realtors, he has been very active in the local real estate community for over 20 years, having served on the Board of Directors and many committees of his local Realtor association and as its president in 1993. In 1995 he was voted REALTOR OF THE YEAR by the Shoreline Board of Realtors. He has received top production awards including the coveted RE/MAX Platinum Club in 1998 through 2005, the RE/MAX Hall of Fame award in 1999 and the RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement Award in 2005.
A Branford native, Phil has been involved in many community activities, including serving as the 1998-99 President of the Branford Rotary Club, president and fund raising chair for the Branford United Way, President of the Architectural Preservation Trust of Branford, Branford and Guilford Chamber of Commerce and Branford Festival Committee. He also served for eight years as a member of the Branford Zoning Board of Appeals.
Phil attended Branford public schools and graduated from the University of Connecticut. He lives in the Indian Neck area with his wife, Hope, and their three children, Charlotte, Hannah and Jacob.
